Sanae & Derry – Ballymagarvey Village, Ireland

When an Aussie girl falls in love with an Irish boy, it makes it tough choosing where to host their wedding. However, when Sanae & Derry discovered Ballymagarvey Village, north of Dublin, they knew it would be the perfect setting for their romantic celebration.

If I was only given three words to describe this wedding, I would say “green”, “romantic” and “classy”.

The green in Ireland was magical! Being in Ballymagarvey felt as though we had travelled back in time. The grounds have been kept meticulously and are uninterrupted by the big smoke of Dublin.

Like all good weddings, Sanae & Derry were loved up and ready to celebrate their big romance with friends and family alike. Hearing the way Sanae described Derry’s gentleness and her appreciation of his arms tickled my heart to no end.

Sanae exuded class in her 2-piece gown by Tania Olsen and Alfred Angelo with some custom alterations. Matched with her beaming smile, Derry could not keep his eyes off his bride.

This wedding was not your typical “destination wedding”. Ireland is Derry’s home and now it is Sanae’s home-in-law. The country complimented the emotion of the day with its stunning greens and drawn out sunset. I’ll return in a heartbeat.
