The biggest moment of their lives – Chris and Pam’s Canberra Engagament

This is one of the sweetest love stories that has ever unfolded before my eyes. Chris got in touch with me a few weeks prior to arrange a “couple’s shoot” with his girlfriend Pam, knowing that he wanted to capture the moment that he asked her to marry him.

We met at sunrise and eased into it slowly. They danced to Bananas in Pyjamas and reminisced about their first date. I asked Chris to recall his favourite moments from their relationship, and I asked Pam what she loved most about Chris.

Finally, amidst a flutter of tears and scattered Cantonese, the moment came.

Chris cried.

Pam cried.

I cried.

What follows is a series of moments that I know will be treasured for years to come. And when Pam and Chris are frail and grey, these images will remind them of their undying love for one another.

Shout out to my friends at Moxom & Whitney for the gorgeous bouquet.
